Bo th EC teams participated in tournament action at Jones on Monday and Tuesday. They will host East Miss iss ippi in the home o~ner Friday night with the Lady Warriors tipping off at 6 p.m. Assisting both teams is Brad Hodge.

"All five ~tarter<; are gone from last year's squad and we have 11 freshmen on thi'> vear's squad," Lady Warriors "coach Sammy Pace said. "Despite the inexperience, the ladies will be fun to watch. They will be very up-tempo with a blend of perimeter scoring and inside power to create difficulties defensively for opponents. "However, with youth and inexperience there will be some growing pains throughout the season which can help us when tournament time rolls a round in Februan."
