In men's action last week, Jay Bowen's Warriors also defeated Crowley's Ridge and fell to Pearl River. Ken Russell of Newton County pumped in 17 points to lead the Warriors in their 76- 59 decision over the visiting Pioneers. Also scoring were Keith Bell of Choctaw Central and Lamond Bowie of Morton, 15 each; Otis Wallace of Memphis, 11; Demondo Mingo of Choctaw Central, nine; Courtney Jones of South Leake, four; Randy Tangle of Choctaw Central and Ray Waddell of Philadelphia, two each; and Ashley McDougle of Morton, one.
