Community College bac;k.~tball teams claimed homecourt wms over Crowley's Ridge College ot Paragould, Ark., before both fell in South Division achon at Pearl River on Thursday. The Lady Warriors, ranked No. 24 nationally prior to the Pearl River game, entered this week with a 15-3 record while the Warriors were 8-10. • EC women 106, Crowley's Ridge (Ark.) 53: Clarkdale's Susan Boatner scored a career– high 20 points in leading the Lady Warriors over the Arkansas team that does not give scholar– ships on Jan. 19 in Decatur. Boatner had 15 points in the second half. All 14 Lady Warriors scored in the drubbing. In improving to 15-2, the Lady Warriors raced to a 63-32 halftime advantage. LaShanta Lyles and Tonya Moncrief both added 18 points for EC. Both had 12 points by halftime. Tanya Viverette scored nine, Arletha Moncrief, Sharae Brown, and Quintina Edwards each had six, and Felisha Temple and Krystal Courtney both scor~d five. Andrea Mi ner led Crowle)'.;.
