RECEIVES MOSAL SCHOLARSHIP • Craig ·McRae (~ght) of Carthage was recently presented the Dr. Margaret Mosal Memorial Scholarship :fm Leadership to attend East, Central Community College in Decatur. The outstanding student .. ~ shown receiving the award from retired ECCC Mathematics pivision Chairman Dr. Shelb} Hurls who provided funding to help establish the ann~ award. Dr. 1osal, now deceased, resided in Canton and served 50 ye2.1'5 exKUtive director of Phi theta Kappa, the international honor society of the two-year colleges. Dr. Harris, who is the former co-sponsor of East Central's Theta Xi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa v.;th Mrs. Ann Burkes, earlier received a Mosal Leadership Award stipend frOm the international organization. The presentation\ was made at the College's annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon held m the Decatur campus. --~~
