The Ovid S. and Carol F. Vickers Scholarship was estab– lished by former students and friends in recognition of the cou– ple's lifetime devotion to East Central. Vickers, an Eastman, Ga. native, served the college as a humamties instructor, division chairman and in various other capactties from 1955 to 1995.
