RECEIVES BOARD OF TRUSTEES SCHOLARSHIP - South Leake High School graduate Lea.nne Bryan is the recipient of the first annual Board of Trustees Scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decatur. This scholarship was established in the spring of 1999 by the ECCC Board of Trustees. The tuition scholarship is awarded annually to a student from one of the five counties in the district en a rotating basis. The scholarship is funded by donations from the College's 30-member Board of Trustees. The outstanding student is shown receiving the award from ECCC Board of Trustees Chairman Prentice Copeland of Philadelphia. Also pictured is the recipient's lhother, Sylvia Kittrell. The presentation was made at the College's annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon held on the Decatur campus.
