Special to The Star DONATION - Del and Peggy Dal as left, recently contributed $25,000 to the Fred Pre– ston Dallas and Maudie Threatt Da as r emonal Scholarship at East Central Community College. Shown with Mr. Dallas a 1950 ECCC alumnus, is Dr. Eddie Smith, ECCC presi– dent. The Dallas Scholarship was established in 1991 by the eight children of Fred Pre– ston Dallas and Maudie Threatt Dallas. Seven of the children attended ECCC.
