ECCG holds tryouts Feb. 25 East Central Community College will hold cheerleader tryouts on Thur sday, Feb. 25, a t 3:30 p.m. in the Brackeen– Wood Physical Education Building, announced Virginia Pace, ECCC cheerleader spon– sor. Anyone interested in trying out for the 1999-2000 football or basketball cheerleadi ng squads must first attend a pre– tryout clinic scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Satur– day, Feb. 13, in the Brackeen– Wood Physical Education Building. Cheers and dance routines to be used during tryouts will be taught at the clinic. At the conclusion of the clinic, Pace will meet with cheerleader can– didates to discuss require– ments and procedures for try– outs.
