Warriors Win Shutout With Miss. Delta, 42-41

Trojans picked up a Warnor pass and advanced ~o 28 yard · line but EC's defensive stops Brian Jones, Anthony Thompson and a host of other Warriors forced a punt and marched to a last minute scoring drive with successful PAT by Hardy. With the nondivision \'ic– tory, the Warriors are assured of a winning season as their rec– ord improved to 6-2 overall. Delta fell to 1-7. East Central is currently tied with Copiah Lincoln for second place in the South Division standings, as both squads sport 3-1 marks. Hinds leads the division with a 4-1 record. East Central's game-winning drive began at its own 12 yard line with 4:56 remaining.
