East Central football camp will run June 27-30 for grades 9-12. Cost is $120 for full-time campers and $90 for non-dorm campers. Camp fees include meals, dormitory room for full-time campers, accident insurance, camp tee-shirts and certificates. Full-time campers must provid·e linens, blankets and pillows. Group rates are avail– able. Football 7-on-7 Team Passing Camp is July 13. Cost is $12 per player. Camp fees include lunch and insurance. Participants should bring all needed equipment (football, tee-shirt, shorts, cleats, etc.). Check-in begins at 8 a.m. with competi– tion at 9 a.m. Coach Thrry Underwood and .the Warrior football staff will provide instruction for each camp. Diamond Warriors go pro Several members of the 1999 East Cen– tral Community College baseball team will continue their careers either in the profes– sional ranks or with four-year colleges. At the top of the list is pitcher/first base– man Jason Willis who has signed a contract with the New York Yankees. Willis recorded the most strikeouts (127) among ali 17 teams in Region 23 Freshman pitcher Allen Buckley was also tapped by the Yankees. Buckley was drafted in the 35th round but has decided to return to East Central for his sophomore year. Four members of this year's squad will continue their careers at four-year colleges.
