LHS's Lee Martin signs scholarship with ECCC ''Diamond Warriors''

LHS--Senior Lee Martin inked a scholarship with East Centra] Community College ofDecatur Thursday, February 5, 1998, to play baseball for the Warriors. Martin, who is a three sport, football, basketball and base– ball, letterman at Lake High School, signed the scholarship Thursday as his mom and dad, Jamie and Coach Randy Marti n looked on (picture at left). Coach Wyatt Tullos, Lake High School Baseball Coach and ECCC Baseball Coach Jamie Clark were on hand as well. It was announced last\\ eek that Martin \\ill also be participating in the Bernard Blackwell Foot– ball All Star Classic in Clinton July 24, 1998. Martin was an of– fensive and defensive stand-out for the Hornets this year:
