1998

These sophomore members of the 1998 East Central Commumty College baseball team were recently recognized for their accomplishments over the past two seasons. This year's squad posted a 32-22 record and captured the school's first state championship in baseball. The 1997 Diamond Warriors went 40-18 and were the state runner-up. Seated from left are Rusty Cumberland, Bo Grace, Eric Weaver, Ron Perkins, Brian Hardy, Jay Mclendon, Paul Clearman, (standing) Seth Hebert, Scott Stephens, Chris Tullos, Dan Gressett, Joey Smith, Greg Wood, and Zach Sanders. The Warriors are led by coach Jamie Clark whose 11 -year record stands at 300-216. His assistants are Neal Holliman and Lee Eady.
