ECCC Orientation 1 DECATUR--A fourth orien– tation session for students planning to attend East Cen– tral Community College this 1 fall will be held Wednesday, 1 July 8 on the Decatur campus, announced Randell E. Lee, dean of students. Registra– tion begins at 8 a.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center. Lee said the College's orien– tation program is designed to inform students about the. ~ca- J demic process and familiar– ize them with the College campus. In addition, students will be able to advance regis– ter for fall classes and learn of the wide variety of aca– demic, social and personal opportunities available at East Central. To complete an orientation session, students should have the following information on file in the Office of Admis– sions, Records and Research: (1) application for admission; (2) ACT scores (for academic and technical students only- 1 not applicable to vocational See "ECCC'' next P.&ge I

students); (3) high school tran– script; and (4) college transcript(s) for transfer stu– dents. The onlY. cost to attend orienta– tion is $50 which is applied to– ward fees for the fall term. (For students who have documented financial aid, the $50 fee is waived.) Students are encour– aged to pay all fees before Au– gust 10; otherwise they will be required to attend the final fall registration on August 14. Parents are also encouraged to attend the orientation program and join students for a complh mentary lunch in MabryMemo– rial Cafeteria.
