VICKERS HONORED - Carol Vickers of Decatur was named ABEIGED Teacher of the Year/Southern Region at the annual Mississippi Association of Adult and Community Education (MAACE) Conference recently held in Vicksburg. Mrs. Vickers is shown receiving the award for MAACE President William Ward of Northwest Mississippi Co"':"\unity College. Also pictured are Dr. Olon Ray, left, executive director, State Board of Commtmity and Junior Colleges; and Gene Davis, ECCC Director of Adult and Continuing Education and past president of MAACE.
