ECCC has record spring enrollment

A record 'Pring enrollment of 19~ ..tudents hn, been reported at ~t Central Community Col– le1! m Decatur, announced Ray– mond McMullan, Director of Admi,:.ion,. , Records and Re..:earch. McMullan said the record -.pring total reprc:-;ents a 12 per– cent increase, or 205 students, compared to same period in 1997 when 1755 students regis– tered for spring classes. Includ– ed in the record enrollment are 70 academic full-time students, 406 technical full-time students and 85 vocational full-time stu-

dents. Of the 1960 students. 537 are enrolled in evening classes. Last fall East Central experi– enced an all-tune record enroll– ment of 2052 students who reg– istered for day ad evening class– es in Decatur and various loca– tions throughout the College's five-county district. East Cen– tral serves Leake, Neshoba , Newton and Winston counties.
