ECCC football All-Stars shine tOr South squad Decatur-East Central Community College football All-Stars played key roles in leading the South squad to a 15-13 win over the North in the 25th annual Mississippi Communi– ty/Junior College All-Star Classic held Saturday at Northeast Missis– sippi Community College in Booneville. The South victory tied the overall series which stands at 12- 12-1. Kevin McKenzie, a 5' 1", 195 registered numerous pass breakups. He garnered most valuable defen– sive player honors. Also having a standout game was Jeff Brown of Forest. Brown, a 6', 190-pound wide receiver, had three receptions for 36 yards and also rushed for 12 yards on a reverse play which set up the game-winning field goal with four seconds remaining in the contest. third down situations which helped the South retain possession.
