Offensively, Underwood had praise for running backs Steve Henley, a freshman and two time All-Stater for the state champion Louisville Wildcats; Jarvis Smith, a sopho– more from Soddy-Daisey High School in Ten– nessee; and Andy Sagona, a sophomore from Sebastopol. The Warrior head coach said Henley "reported in great condition with a great atti– tude" and added Smith "really tanle into his own at mid-season and played very well." Smith was one of the m ost highly recruited playe rs in Tennessee in 1996. Sagona is d escribed as "one of ou r better players-a tough kid- a good football player." Under– wood said Sagona will sec action at tailback and wide receiver. Underwood also cited sophomore wide receiver Jeff Brown of Forest who transferred from Delta State University in January.
