Jones Junior College and a standout on the 1982 and 1983 football squads. The 1983 squad won the state championship and was ranked seventh in the na– tion. Mangum was also a mem– ber ofthe track team and recipi– ent of t he WBSJ Leadership Award. A graduate of Mt. Olive High School, Mangum was All-Con– ference in football and basket– ·ball for three years and was se– lected Most Athletic in addition to various other honors and ac– tivities. His professional activities in– clude his participation at vari– ous coaching clinics and camps throughout the South. He and his wife, Kim, have t\\0 children. Natalie and Will. The ne\\ assistants join return– ing coach Tim Coats who begins his fourth season on the warrior Staff. Coasts will continue to coach defensive backs along with serving in his new role a~ defensive coordinator. EC begins the 1998 season by traveling to Northwest Missis– sipp i Community College on Thursday, September 3. Kick– off is set for 7 p.m. on the <;cnatobia campus
