Baptist Church. A graduate of Edinburg High School, he received his associate's degree from East Central Junior College. He has completed additional coursework at Mississippi State University, Jackson State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. He is married to the former Betty Martin of Edinburg. They have a daughter, Michelle Smith, and a son, Rober, both of Edinburg. €CCC WITH YOUINNINO

Gerald Jordan of Edinburg was re<:ently selected welding instructor at East Centra l Community College in Decatur. Prior to joining the ECCC staff, Jordan served as metal trades instructor at Hinds Community college in Raymond. He has also served as a production machine operator instructor for ECCC. Jordan earlier sen·ed as a welder and machine shop worker for Superior Coach Corporation in Kosciusko and is a former parts and service manager for Taylor Machine Works m Carthage. Jordan is a member of Sunrise
