Blackburn named ECCC Career Center Team Leader

held since 1992. He is also a former carpentry and cabinetmaking instructor and VIDS instructor at ECCC. Blackburn has been a member of the college staff since 1975. He is a graduate of Decatur High School, East Central Junior College, where he received an associate in applied science degree in drafting; and the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned bachelor's and master's degree in industrial and vocational education. Blackburn is married to the former Jo Munn of Decatur, who is employed as a secretary at the Newton County Vocational-Technical Center. They have two daughters, Tracy Blackburn, a counselor a t Newton County Elementary School; and ~s.:...Iamey (Kim) Smith of Enterprise, an elementary education major at Meridian Community College. The Smiths have a two-year– old daughter, Ashton.
