ECCC FOUNDATION SECURES GRANT MONIES - A $25,000 grant from the Phil Hard in Foun– dation of Meridian has been secured for East Central Community College in Decatut: following an announcement by the ECCC Foundation Boa.rd of Directors that$50,000 has been raised in private monies for the 1997-98 fiscal period, as required for each year fo the three-year Hardin grant pe· riod. The Hardin award is a one-for-two matching grant that will provide up to $25,000 per year to fund a Faculty Excellence Endowment. Earnings from the endowment will be used to fund advance– ment enrichment experiences for faculty and other professional personnel. Foundation Board mem· hers recently met on the Decatur campus to discuss the Hardin grant and other items of business.
