Members of the Eas t Central Community College women's basketb all who received awards are, seated from left, Denise Chapman (:\1ost Improved), Jamie Floyd (team captain, most rebounds, and All-Star), Ellake Murray (most free throws), Nicole Barrett (Most Valuab le Player, Best Offensive Player, All-Star, All-Region 23, and AU-State), standing, Wendy Mapp (most assists, Freshman of the Year, and All-Regiqn 23 Tournament team), Marina Carter (Best Defensive Player), and Kamonka Craig (L'ady Warrior Award). The Lady Warriors completed the 1997-98 season with a 19-9 mark.
