SIMMONS DONATIS TO ECCC PARK - Paul Simmons of Louisville, an alumnus of East Central Community College, recently donated 125 of his day lilies to the College to be planted in Sullivan Park. The picturesque park, located on tl1e College's Decatur campus, is named for one of his "favorite" people from his days as an East Central student, Janie Harrelson Huff Sullivan. The park is located in the spot where the former educati'on instructor once tended a garden. Simmons worked with Sullivan in the campus bookstore and was one of the students she selected tQ help her tend her garden. Sullivan died in 1965. Pictured with Simmons and his wife are several former and current ECCC personnel who played key roles in establishing Sullivan Park. From le.ft are Dr. Eddie M.
