FRANK MELTON, CEO of WLBT-TV, Jackson, was the featurec speaker at the annual Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce Ban quet held at the East Central Community College South Campu! Dining Facility on NOvember 14. In addressing the over 200 ir attendante, Melton urged citizens to get involved in communit) activities • especially with young people. "The problem in man) communities and schools is not the children. but the parents anc ~ther adults who ignore their responsibili~es to our youth. Wt ·must make a dedicated effort to ensure that our young people receive the guidance and leadership they need." Melton received a standine ovation fnllnwing his remarks. (EC Photo)
