EPFP is an in-service leader– ship program that operates in 14 sites across the country. Fellows are mid-career professionals who work full-time in education; health and human science; public, private and non-profit sectors; business; and commun– ity settings. Every year, groups of 20-30 individuals are selected to participate as Fellows at each of the program sites. There are currently over 4,000 alumni nationwide. Through a series of semi– monthly, on-site training activi– ties (20-25 per year) - including seminars, site visits, skill deve– lopment workshops, interactive and experiential activities, and individual and/or group pro– jects - Fellows are given oppor– tunities to explain individual leadership development, state and national policy and critical social issues, and their connec– tedness. Throughout the prog– ram year, Fellows relate their new learning to their individual jobs and workplaces.
