Purchase Kirby concert tickets..... Among the first fans of entertainer Pat Kirby to pur– chase tickets to his upcoming concert at East Central Communtiy College are Kirby's former E(CCOclass– mates Pat Murphey Diley (centertl of Forest. formerly of Newton, and Charles Boggan (right) of Decatur. Shown presenting the tickets is Dan harrison of Newton, president of the ECCC Alumni Associat ion which is sponsoring Kirby's performance. Kirby, a 1975 East Central graduate and Newton native, will present "A Tribute to Garth Brooks" performance on Thur~da~, October 10 in HuffAuditorium. Performing as the opening act at 7 p.m. will be ECCC's Blues Band, 'Round Midnite. In addition, mem· hers of the College's 1996 Homecoming Court w il I be introduced prior to Kirby's performance. Tickets are $7 each and may be pruchased by calling the ECCC Public Information Office, Ph. 63S-2lll, ext. 333, or the Newton Chamber of Commerce, Ph. 683-2201.
