Winds: Josh Bamburg and Brian Green, first and second trumpets, both of Decatur; Matt Eakes, alto/ tenor sax, Philadel– phia; and J.B. Ware, trombone, Union. Technicians: Jim Savell, Lake; and Clay Hammond, Glen Hansford and Mingo Tingle, all
of Decatur. The Collegians perform Top 40, rock 'n' roll and country music. Carson, director for 14 years, said the group has become very popular with audiences by playing some– thing for everyone-a fact he feels will be a hit among Olympic audiences. So as the Olympic torch makes its way through the U.S. to Atlanta for the Centennial Olympic Celebration, these hometown performers from the Magnolia state will follow close behind to showcase t~eir talents for audiences from all over the world.
