Several Central Community College students from Winston County were recently initiated into the Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of the two-year college. New inductees include (first row, from left) Evelyn Robinson of Noxapater, Amy Boatner of Philadelphia and Amy Moore and Karen Persons, both of Noxapater, (second row from left) Peyton Weems, Penny Hill a nd Scott Gronewold, all of Louisville, and (third row from left) Charles Dunlap, Lee Wylie, Bart Gregory and Jeremy Nowell, all of Louisville. Members hip in Phi Theta Kappa is by invitation only to freshman with a 3.4 or above g rade point average and sopho– mores with a 3.3 or above grade po int average.
