Louisville, wa!> drafted in the 30th round by the New York Yankees but has decided not to -go pro and will return for the 1997 campaign. Perozo. a rehef pitcher. posted a 1-0 record and a 1.56 earned run average. He is a product of West Monroe High School in Louisiana. Estep, a starter for the Diamond Warriors. recorded a 9-6 mark and a 4.63 ERA. He also hurled a no– hitter during the 1996 campatgn. He attended Prairie View Academy in Louisiana Bost, an All-State performer, batted a .333 llnd led the team in home runs with seven. He also collected 10 triples, 10 doubles. a team-best 40 RBI's and scored 40 runs. Bost is a product of Neshoba Central High School. _ Lally, an All-Region 23 and A!!: State selection, led the Diamond Warrior pitching staff wtth a I0-5 record and 1.37 ERA. Lally worked 98 1/2 inning during the

1996 eason and registered a team-best 60 Mrikeout~. He also allowed just 35 runs and 62 hits. He is a graduate ot Breaux Bndge High Schoolm Louistana. Lambert batted .293 and hit live home runs. He regtstt ed a team– best 35 stolen bao;cs and colle~tcd 21 RBI's. Lambert hails from East Ascension High School m Louisiana. McBride posted a .::!60 batting average. collected 10 d 1uble~ and had 22 RBI's. lie ts a product of Newton High School Jones batted 231 and is a grndu– ~te of Neshoha Central High School. As a team. Ea'it Central haued .292 and the pitching staff posted a 3.91 ERA. During Coach Clark's tenure nt East Central. which hegan in 1987, 5 1 of his former players have received senior rollege scholarships or have been dratted by professional teams.
