TEACHERS A'ITEND ECCC TECH PREP WORKSHOP- East Central Community College recently held a Tech Prep Workshop on the Decatur Campus for the six Tech Prep schools in their district which includes Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Winston counties. Tech Prep is a partnership between local school districts, ECCC and business/industry. According to Maudean Sanders, ECCC tech prep coordinator, "''t equips students with skills the workplace demands, prepares them for the real wo.tld and eases the transition into a four-year college or university." Representatives from the Te~ Prep schools developed activities for teacher/advisor notebooks to be used with students in the upcoming school year.
