Ra.Y addresses ECCC Workforce Council Dr. Olon Ray, executive director of the Miss. State Board for Community and Junior CoUeges, presented an update on the Board's reorganization efforts to members of the Enst Central Community College District Workfo•·ce Council at its quarterly meeting recently held on the Decatur campus. He also asked council members to support legislative funding requests for workforce education and training. Others providing remarks or presenting reports included Curt Thompson, a representative of the Miss. Employment Security Commission; Earl Marshall, Career Center Team leader, \\ ho discussed activities of the Career Center staff and monthly training projects; Dr. Eddie Smith, college president; Dr. Phil Sutphin, dean of instruction; Karl Brantley of Philadelphia, plant manager of U. S. Electrical Motors and Workforce Council chairman; and Maudean Sanders, ECCC Tech-Prep Coordinator.
