EC Lady Warriors • s1gn seven East Central Community College has signed seven incoming fresh– men for its 1995-96 women's basket– ball team with five coming from the local hardwoods. Signing from Neshoba Central are 5-foot-9 forward Olivia McDaniel and 5-foot-5 point guard Felicia Brantley. Brantley averaged 12.6 points, 5.5 assists. and three rebounds. McDaniel averaged 10.9 points, six rebounds, four assists, and thr~e steals. The Lady Rockets were 20-!1 last year. Inking from P hiladelphia is 5- foot-9 forward Pachasia Thompson. She averaged 10.5 points as the Lady Tornadoes went 14-16 and participat– ed in the first round of the Class 2A South State Tournament. Joining the Lady Warriors of EC from Leake Academy are 5-foot-9 forward Thra Hall and 5-foot-7 gu'ard Jennifer Musgrove. Hall averaged 16.8 points and made 68.4 percent 017 of 171l of her free throws for the 28-9 Rebelettes. ~Iusgrove averaged 12.7 points and made 54.5 percent 178 of 143) of her free throws. The Rebelettes finished third in the Academy AA stale tournament. Also s igning ar e 5-foot-6 point guard Angie Lyles from 17-6 Morton and 5-foot-8 forward Stephine Houston <13.9 ppg > from 17-12 Carthage. Sammy Pace's 1994-95 EC team finished 22-7 and was the state runnerup. • coats adds two: EC football coach Willie Coats has added 6-foot-4, 195- pound quarterback Lance Eichel– berger and 6-foot-1, 270-pound nose guard Erick Irby to his 1995 roster.
