Kirkland is a graduate of Philadelphia High School, where she received the "I Dare You" Award and was named Rota ry Student of the Month and , a Scholar Athlete. She was also a sophomore and senior class Homecoming maid and a sophomore and senior class favorite. At East Central, she is major– ing in elementary education and was selected freshman Homecom– ing maid and fre:>hmen class "ice president. She is also a member of Mu Alpha Thetll, Phi Theta Kap– pa, tbe FeUo~ship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and the Warrior football cheerleading squad. She is the. daughter of Wayne and Barbara Kirkland of Philadelphia.

She also received the Biolo&Y Award, Girl Scout Award and was an honor student. At East Central, she is major– ing in liberal arts and is a member of the Wo-He-Lo yearbook staff. She is the daughter of Joe and Janice Martin of Pbiladelpbia .
