Amy Phillips LoniSavell ESCO Scholarship Winners ·

ESCO Corporation is pJea.Sed to announce that Amy Phillips and Loni Savell are the winners of the 1995 ESCO Newton Scho– larships. Awarded to depen– dents of ESCO employees and retirees, each scholarship quali– fied the recipient to receive up to $1,.500 per year for four years. Amy, Salutorian and Star Stu– dent for the 1995 Lake High School graduating class, earned an impressive list of academic accomplishments during her high school career. Her extta– cunicular activities included be– ing co-editor of the high school annual and a member of the Beta Club. Amy, is a member ofHazel Baptist Omrch. She plans to attend East Cen– tral Community and pursue a career inNursing. Amy is the daughter of Cobert and Sandra Phillips. Cobert, an

ESCO employee for 24 years, works in the Methods Department. Lorri, a 1995 graduate ofNew– ton High School excelled academically and was involved in many extra-cunicular activi– ties. She is a member of Beta Oub, Annual Staff, MuAlpha Theta, FBI..A and class represen– tative for student government. As part of the School Co-op program, Lorri works at Newton Regional Hosptial. A member of the Newton united Methodist Church, Loni participated in an Appalachian ServiceProject. She plans to attend Millsaps College and pursue a carrer in themedical field. Lorn is the daughter of Hamp and Susan Savell. An ESCO em– ployee for 22 years, Hamp is a Melting Foreman.
