Reynolds named to Achievement Academy

The United States Achievement Academy announced today that Deana Reynolds has been named an All-American Collegiate Scholar. The USSA has established the All– American Collegiate Award Pro– gram to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. The All– American Collegiate Scholars must earn a :u, or higher, grade point average. Only scholars selected by a school offical or other qualified sponsor are accepted. These schol– ars are also eligible for other awards given by the USAA. These are awards few students can ever hope to attain. Deana Reynolds, who attends East Central Community College, was nominated for this national award by Mr. Randall E. Lee. Deana Reynolds will appear in the All-American Collegiate Year– book, which is published nation– ally. "Recognizing and supporting our youth is more imponant than ever before in America's history. Cer– tainly, winners of the All-American Collegiate Awards should be con– gratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence a00 achievement," said Dr. George Stephens, Executive Director of the United States Achievement Academy. The Academy selects USAA winners upon the exclu– sive recommendation of teachers, coaches, counselors, and other qualified sponsors and upon the Standards of Selection set forth by the Academy. The criteria for selection are a student's aca– demic performance , interest apti– tude, leadership qualities, respon– sibility, enthusiasm. motivatipn

Deana Reynolds is the daughter of Peggy Reynolds of Noxapater, and BiUy Reynolds of Philadelphia. The grandparents are Ersel Baskin of Noxapater, and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Reynolds of Philadelphia.
