The East Central offense was not to be denied us they converted on their third consecutive fourth down situation when fullback Marty Stojvoich plowed through the line getting two yards for the first down to keep the drive alive. l<'reshman running back Steven Bradford found a hole in the Bear defense as he rambled for 19 yards giving East Central first and goal from the 1 yard line. On third and inches, tailback Frcdd10 May plunged for his second touchdown ofthe ballgame. Peyton Weems added the point after and gave the Warriors t he lead at 21-14 with 11:09 remain– ing in the fourth quarter. The Warrior d efen se forced yet anoth er turnover when Ashanti Webb recovered a Head fumble on the 50 yard line. East Central's defense came up big for the Warriors in the second half as they pitched a shutout and h eld Southwest to a mere 65 total yards in the half with only five first downs.

IL has happened again this year as the Warriors got thmr first win of the yea1· with a 24-14 victory uvcr the Bears at Wariior field.
