Kickoff for the nondivi- lOn matchup is set for 7 p.m. on he Goodman campus. Coats, former head coach at fearl River Community College and an East Central assitant in he 1970's, said he is "very leased" with his team's attitude and work ethics and added the players have responded well to some "very tough" workouts held in almost 100-dcgreeheat. The Warriors, who return just nine lettermen and feature 38 freshmen on the 54-man roster went through a controlled-type scrimmage under the lights on August 22, and Coats said he saw several "bright spots" during the two-hour session.
