Vance EC T.ennis Coach

Vance previously coached men's and women's tennis at Newton County High School. She has also coached women's basketball, women's track and women's volley– ball for the Plano Independent School District inTexas. Vance, a native ofNatchez, said "I look forward to putting together a quality team and to the challenge of starting the women's program back at East Central. It will be an asset to theCollege." Agraduate ofSouth Natchez High School, Vance received an associate of arts degree from Copiah-Lincoln Junior College before continuing her education at Mississippi State Uni– versity. At MSU, she received a bachelor's degree in physical educa– tion. She also has a master's degree in secondary education from North Texas University. She is married to Mickey Vance of Newton, who serves as Business Manager for the college. They have two children, Jordan, 5, and Savan– nah,2.

wandaMoore Newton County native Wanda Ezell Moore has been named economics/ business administration instructor at East Central Community College in Decatur, announced Dr. Eddie M. Smith, College president Moore previously taught market– ing at Philadelphia High School. She is also a fanner fu ll-time substitute teacher at Decatur Elementary School and graduate assistant in the Marketing Department at Mississip– pi State University. She has also worked as a sales and service rep– resentative for Southeastern Medical Supply, Inc., inRidgeland. Moore, a former resident of Deca– tur who began her duties on August 1, said "working at East Central is like corning home. It's a re.al com– fortable feeling." A graduate of Decatur High School, Moore received an associate of arts degree from East Central Junior College before continuing her educauon at Mississippi State Uni– versity. At MSU, she received a b:lchelor of arts degree in marketing 3.11d a master's degree in business administration. She is curremly seek– ing addiuonal graduate course work
