ECCC Personnel Honored . .. These East Central Community College person– nel were recognized for t heir many years of service at the annual "Apple for the Teacher Tea" recently held on the Decatur campus. During the special observance, recognition is given to those who have been employed at the two-} ear institution for 20 year~. Honorees included (front row, from left) Mr~. Elizabeth Pitts, business technology instructor; Mrs. Barbara Deaton, secretar) in communications center; Mrs. Gail Wood, library science instructor and assistant librarian; and (back row, from left) Mike Anderson, intramurals director and women's softball coach; Bruce Guraedy, art instructor; Ovid Vickers, English instructor and Chairman of the Division of Communications and Fine Arts; and Larry Blackburn, workforce specialist. Vickers, who earlier announced his retirement, was recognized for his 40 years or service to East Central.
