Citizens Bank Announces Scholarship For ECCC

A full tuition scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decarur is again being offered by TheCitizens Bank ofPhiladelphia. Established in 1992, the scholar– ship is available to a selected reci– pient from one of the four ECCC district counties served by the bank, which includes Leake, Neshoba, Newton and Scott counties. The scholarshp is available for the fall and spring semesters of each reci– pient's freshman year. To be eligible, a recipient must (I) enroll as a full-time student at East Central Community College A full tuition scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decatur is again being offered by Sunburst Bank. Established in 1992, the scholar– ship is available to a selected reci– pient from one of the four counties served by the bank in the ECCC District. Sunburst operates branch offices in Decatur, Union, Philadel– phia, Louisville, Forest and Newton. The value of the fall semester ruition scholarship is equal to the current published matriculation fee for one semester. To be eligible, a recipient must:

the fall semester following high school graduation; (2) reside in an area served by The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia in the ECCC District; (3} have demonstrated leadership ability in his/her high school; and (4) have scored a composite of 20 or above on the ACT. Recipients are selected by the college scholarship committee from students who apply and meet the criteria listed above.
