Signs letter of intent Former East Central Community College women's basketball player Genia Griffin of Morton has signed a letter of intent to attend William Carey College. Griffin, shown with Lady Warrior coach Sammy Pace, helped lead East Central to the MACJC South Division Tournament t;tle this post season and the Region 23 Championship during the 1993-94 campaign The ECCC women also won the Consolation Championship of the NJCAA Tournament the some year. East Central compiled on overall50-14 record during the two years Griffin was a member of the Lady Warrior squad.
