ECCCTeams Begin '96 Action

at 6 p.m. and ECCC and Delta menat8p.m. The Lady Warriors sport an 8-3 overall mark and 3-1 South Divi– sion record prior to the annual post-holiday tournament while the Warriors are 4-7and 2-2. East Central resumes season play by hosting Delgado of New Orleans on Saturday, January 13, Holmes on Tuesday, January 16, and Jones County on Thursday, January 18. In other games sche– duled throughout the month, ECCC travels to Gulf Coast on Monday, January 22, entertains Southwest on Thursday, January 25, and travels to Copiah-Lincoln on Monday, January 29. Game times are 6 p.m. for women's action followed by men's play at 7:45p.m.

A five-game home stand awaits East Central Community College's basketball squads which begin 1996 competition by hosting an invitational tourna– ment on Monday and Tuesday, January 8-9, in the Brackeen/ Wood Physical Education Build– ing on the Decatur campus. Tourney action gets underway at 2 p.m. featuring Jones County and Mississippi Delta women followed by the Bobcat-Trojan matchup at 4 p.m. ECCC's Lady Warriors take on the Bishop State Women at 6 p.m. with men's action scheduled at 8 p.m. Games Tuesday includes Jones County and Bishop State women at 2 p.m., Jones County and Bishop State men at 4 p.m., Mis– sissippi Delta and ECCC women
