Sophomore Phillip Prince of Phi– ladelphia pumped in 23 points and led East Central Community College to a nail-bitting 74-72 win O\er Itawamba Saturday ngiht to com– plete a sweep of torunament compet– ition in the annual ECCC lmita– tional. The vistory lifted EC to a 7-8 overall mark. Prince was also lOp pointmaket against MS Delta on Friday night as te Leake Academy product scacd 19 points - mcluding two free throws in the closing sec– onds - in the Warriors 83-80 squeaker. Other scorers m the Itawamba contest were Vincent Spence, 13; Johnny Mays, 12; Danis Rasberry, eight; Jamie SuUles, OJ. McNichols and Chris Hillie, five each; and Alphonzo Norman, three.
