EC teams have ·losing outings

East Central's Lady Warriors rallied from a 38-33 halftime deficit to claim a 63-62 South Division \\in over the Lady Bobcats of Jones County Junior College Thursday night in Ellisville. With the victory, the ECCC women improved to 12-3 overall and 4-1 in division play. Freshman Melody Reed of Forest led the Lady Warriors attack with 16 points. Also scoring were Monica Davis, 14; J.J. Moorehead and Wilma Cooksey, seven each; Cyntia Ellis, five; Jennifer Alex– ander and LaDonna Robinson, four each; and Chasicy Bounds, two. In men's action, the Warriors were outgunned by the national!} ranked Bobcats by a 110-77 margin. Phillip Prince of Philadelphia had 26 points for the Warriors who dropped to 7-10 and 0-5. Other pointmakers were O.J. McNichols and Bobby Viverette, 16 each; Jamie Suttles, nine; Danis Rasberry, four; and Johnny Mays, Eric Caples and Vincent Spencer, two each. Jones led 54-39 at halftime. GAMES PLAYED JAN. 10 Both ECCC teams fell ro Holmes Community College in nondi\ision competition held on the Goodman campus.

Holmes led 28-25 at halftime. GAMES THIS WEEK In games scheduled this week, East Central will travel to Southwest Mississippi Community College on Thursday, Jan~ary 19. Both teams will entertain C.opiah– Lincoln on Monday, January 23.
