DECATUR- The showdown is set once again. The East Central Community College Lady Warriors will get another chance to knock off top– seeded Pearl River in the finals of the Mississippi Junior College South Division Townament. ECCC, the tournament's No. 3 seed , reached today's championship game by knocking off second– seeded Copiah-Lincoln Community College 70-64 in Decatur Wednesday. The Pearl River women held off a late rally by Jones County Junior College Wednesday to claim a 72-69 victory. East Central upset Pearl River at home Dec. 8, 1994 and Pearl River won the second meeting in Poplarville J an. 30. In other tournament action, the Jones County men's team, ranked No. 13 in the nation and seed– ed first in the tournament, was upset by ::-.lo. 5 seed Co-Lin, 73-66. The Wolves will face third-seeded Pearl River in the today's finals. The Wildcats knocked offsecond– seeded Southwest 71-61 Wednesday. The women's finals begin at 6 p .m. and the men's championship game will tip off at 8 p.m.
