WIN DIVISION TITLE- An obviously excited group of East Central Community College Lady Warriors celebrate.t~eir n-68 victoryover nationally ranked Pearl River Thursday night for the MACJC South Division Tournament championship. Four ECCCwomen scored in double figures to claim the upset victory, led by Melody Reed of Forest with 18 points. Other top polntmakers were Monica Davis of Banks, Ark., 16; Brandi Harber of Union, 14; and Genia Griffin of Morton, 10. The Lady Warriors, who reached the division finals by eli– minating Copiah-Lincoln (70-64) and Southwest (84-75), improved to 21-5 while Pearl River dropped to 22-5. Both teams advance to state tournament action scheduled February 20-21 in the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building on the Decatur campus. The ECCCmen earlier concluded the 1994-95 campaign by falling to the Peart River Wildcats 85-80 in first-round tournament competition. The ECCCmen posted a 9·17mark. (EC Photo)
