The East Central Community Col– lege Lady Warriors reached the fina ls of the state basketball tourna– ment where they dropped a three– point decision to Northwest on Feb. 21 in Decatur. The 22-£ Lady Warriors opened play in the Region 231burnament at Mississippi College against 17-9 Coahoma Tuesday afternoon. U they won that contest, the Lady War riors will play the Nort heast-Ma r y Holmes winner a t noon today. The fina ls are set for Thursday at 6 p.m. The winner of tht- regional ad– vances to the NJCAA national tour– nament in Tyler, Texas, Ma rch 13-18. ECCC WOMEN 107, NORTHEAST so: All 13 Lady Warriors scored in the Feb. 20 semifinal mauling of Northeast. The Lady Warriors al– ready had a 2o-point lead (56-36) by halftime as they scored a season– high 107 points. Brandi Harber scored 23 points, including an 11 of 11 effort at the free-throw line to lead 22-5 EC.
