Academic All-American Nominees... These outstanding student athletes at East Central Community College have been nominated as National .Junior College Athletic Association Academic All-Americans for the 1993-94 school ~ear. Nominees for this prestigious honor must have lettered in one or more sports recognized b) the NJCAA and have an ac– cumulated grade point average of 3.6 or better on a 4.0 scale. Students selected Distinguished Academic All-1. 11ericans earn at least a 3.8 GPA. Nominees and their respective sports area include (from lett) Clay Ward of Louisville, basketball; Mark Fanning or Hickory I Jamie Mor– row of Harvey, Louisiana, and Brandon Gray of Union, all m~mbers of the Warrior basebaJI team; Kim Reel of Preston, softball; and Carla Leflore of Carthage, basketball.
