Parker namedCollegiate All-American The United States Achievement Academy annou nced today that Vincent L. Parker has been named to a Collegiate Scholastic All-Amer– ican.

The Academy selects Schol~stic
All-American Collegiate Scholars upon the exclusive recommenda– tions of professors, instructors, deans and other qualified sponsors. Once awarded, the students may be recognized by the USAA for other honors. Vince is the son of Betty P. Eastman of Lake and the late Joe Parker. The grandparents are Jean Harrison o f Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Parker of Lawrence.
The USAA has established the Scholastic AU-American Co lcgiate Award Program in order to offer dl'– served recognition to supenor stu– dents who excel in the academiC disci plines. The Scholastic All– American Collegiate Scholar~ must earn a 3.30 or better gradeo po1m av– erage. Only scholars ~elected by a school o fficial or other qualified sponsor arc accepted.
