ECCC Student To Deliver Commencement activities are planned at 8 p.m. Friday, May 13, 1994, for 263 candidates for gradua– tion at East Central Community Col– lege in Decatur, announced Dr. Phil Sutphin, Dean of Instruction. This year's ceremony marks the college' s 65th commerrcement program, sche– duled to be held inWarrior Stadium. Several students will participate in the 65th commencement program. Delivering the main address will be Cindy Callahan of Forest, this year's recipient of the college's outstanding student award. Callahan, a secondary math education major with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, was recog– nized along with other honorees from the state's colleges and univer– sities at the annual HEADWAE (Higher Eeducation Appreciation Day Working for Academic Excel– lence) program, sponsored by the Mississippi Legislature. A graduate of Scott Central High School, Calla– han is also a recent inductee in the college's Hall of Fame, the highest honor a student cxn receive at East Central.
